Several
WAMALUG members gathered at the Queen Bee Restaurant for dinner to welcome a couple of
ParLUGment members from Canada.
Jason Allemann and Paul Langille were down
on business and decided to join us. I was talking with Jason and I mentioned during dinner that the Leonov from 2010 was an excellent model, at which point,
he reminded me that it was
his model. Doh! Despite the fact that I talked with him for half an hour at Brickfest 2004 about his Leonov his face
never registered. We had a lovely talk about their both working for Corel and about when WordPerfect is going to be updated for the Mac. Well, uh, never.
Christina brought a LEGO model and we made a game of starting with one piece, each person would add a piece to the creation and then pass it to the person on the right
for them to add the next piece.
Steve DeCraemer brought a new version of his "sphere" and discovered on the ride over that if you crush it, it doesn't self destruct, it just deforms. You just pop it back into shape.
